·         www10.homepage.villanova.edu/deborah.schussier/portfolio_links.htm

Name Of the Site: www10.homepage.villanova.edu/deborah.schussier/portfolio_links.htm

1.     What is the content of the site? What are the headings? What subjects and other areas are included?
webpage cannot be found

2.     What is about the web design? What is not so good? ( Refer to colors, organization of images and text, types of images etc.) webpage cannot be found

3.     Make comments about the organization of the portfolio. ( Refer to navigation and how items are found) webpage cannot be found

Name Of the Site: •   www.educationworld.com/a_tech/tech111.shtml

1.     What is the content of the site? What are the headings? What subjects and other areas are included?

The site is called ‘education world’. It has been set up to improve education around the world by giving access to many resources that teachers and administrators would find useful in providing education to children.  The site headings are: Teachers, Administrators, Lesson Plan, Technology, Prof. Development and More.  In these sections you can find articles, teaching guides, subject lesson plans, technology tools and strategies & tips for teachers to employ with kids

2.     What is good about the web design? What is not so good? ( Refer to colors, organization of images and text, types of image)

The good thing about the site is that it has a lot of useful information and a library of resources that you can search.  However, the layout is rather plain, with too much text and not enough graphics.  It does not look like a site that you would want to spend time viewing despite it’s helpful content

3.     Make comments about the organization of the portfolio. ( Refer to navigation and how items are found)

The portfolio is just one long narrow block of information, and you have to scroll a long way down to complete reading.  There are adverts and other links to the right side which don’t relate to the portfolio information.  There are no quick links to the different portfolio sections to allow you to jump directly to the sections that you may be interested in.
