1. Web Authoring software definition:
Web site development system that allows web pages to be visually created like a desktop publishing program.  It generates the required HTML code for the pages and is able to switch back and forth (in varying degrees) between the page layout and the HTML.


2. Social Bookmarking definition:
A Web site that ranks bookmarks to other Web sites that are contributed by users who like the site.  Users can add comments to the bookmarks and make them private for friends and family or public for everyone.  E.g. Slashdot (www.slashdot.org), Digg (www.digg.com) and Reddit (www.reddit.com) are popular bookmarking sites


3. Blog definition:
Noun:  a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style.
Verb: add new material to or regularly update a blog.


4. Wiki definition: 
Web site that can be quickly edited by its visitors with simple formatting rules.   "Wiki wiki" means "quick" in Hawaiian

Delicious is the world’s largest free social bookmarking web service and it allows you to save links to sites that you regularly access on the web.  You can build up a collection of links, essentially creating your own personal search engine.  You can also organize your links so that when you’re looking for something, it can be found within seconds.


2) www.animoto.com -
Animoto is a cloud-based video creation service that produces video from photos, video clips, and music into video slideshows.  It’s easy to use and videos can be created in minutes.  It allows you to customize your video and select from a wide variety of video style options.  Videos can be shared via the web, mobile or tablet.


3) www.blogger.com -

Blogger is Google’s free tool for creating blogs.  A Blogger account can be set up in three easy steps. All you need to do is create an account, name your blog, and choose a template.  Blogs, short for web-logs, are a form of online journal.  You can use blogs to update your friends and family about what’s happening in your life, or for giving your advice/ opinion/ expertise on a particular subject matter.  It’s possible to host the blog with many people being able to contribute, or you can run it just by yourself.
